DEHSART set up a booth at the CalRecycle Used Oil/Household Hazardous Waste Conference held October 28 – October 31, 2013 in Sacramento to share our artistic approach to recycling and reuse of materials. The pop up display was created using repurposed plastic bags and newspaper, and featured the public artwork and educational materials that we have developed.
Attendees could guess how many E’s found and collected at a desert site were in the jar for a chance to win a photograph. Gladys Glaude who put the entire conference together is the winner of our Trash Guessing Game! She selected this image from our Instagram account as her prize:
